Roosta Holiday Village writes...

The main summer event in Roosta is certainly the yearly super cool Surf Camp. This year, it will be held from July 13 to 17. It doesn't matter if you are just a beginner or an experienced surfer, this is your event! This year, the favourite camp of all surf fans offers something new for everyone!

It is the third time for the Roosta Holiday Village to host Surf Camp, and this summer we can also provide comfortable holiday houses of different sizes for accommodation, parking spaces for car caravans and picturesque sites for camping. We also take care of providing food for campers and solve logistics issues. Two and a half thousand people took part in the camp last year and it is very important for us to make everyone feel comfortable and nice at a holiday in Roosta.

This year, the surf camp is named after Battery and in addition to other interesting things, we plan to organise an exhibition! Perhaps some people know what surf equipment looked like twenty-five years ago, but during this Surf Camp you can all see the surf equipment and clothes of past times with your own eyes and touch them with your own hands. Therefore, it is a wonderful opportunity to see what kind of improvements the sport has gone through over the years and how quickly the possibilities can change.

But the main activity is of course surfing! From early mornings until late nights, as long as you want to! Those who cannot surf can participate in surf trainings. There is also a special programme for children and young people. Several surf fellowships, clubs and teams will be present, so professional advice and necessary contacts are available for you any time you need them. In addition to all of the above, you can participate in a workshop where, under the guidance of a painter, several paintings will be drawn. The paintings will later be sold at an auction and the income of this event will be donated to improve local life.

We can assure you that this is not all that the Battery Surf Camp (from July 13 to 17) can offer you, but let us keep something to ourselves to surprise you :).
